Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $400 million in veteran causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. In 2018, the Foundation pledged an additional $250 million to veteran causes taking the total commitment to half a billion by 2025.
For more than 110 years, CBL has never been one to follow the trends. They've grown during economic boom times such as the Roaring Twenties and survived downturns times like the Great Depression of the 1930’s and the savings and loan failures of the 1980’s.
Through it all, they've remained true both to their heritage of conservative leadership and their original goal to serve the local community as a savings-and-loan-style institution. Today, with more than $145 million in assets and an expanding customer base, Citizens Building and Loan is one of the most highly capitalized institutions in the state.
We wish to thank those who have donated generously, providing resources, time and funds to help us. It is your belief in our work and our shared love of horses that makes this effort so rewarding for us all.
